Job Happiness
One of the things that makes my job wonderful is the people I work for and with. I like most of my supervisors, and the ones I don't actively like I just don't know very well yet because I haven't worked with them much.
One of my supervisors went to the same high school as me, and we were peripherally aware of each other's presence. But now we work together and have dinner and holiday parties where we have lots of fun.
So, for the holidays, since she knows I have an "alternative" religion, she made me a special set of holiday cookies which were her presents this year.
She made me the phases of the moon in cookie form.
She is awesome.
And they're very yummy.
In other non-work news, my sister has been baking up a storm the last few days. She baked something like six or eight dozen cookies to give out in present packages, and then made two double batches of corn bread. It's made the house smell very nice and be very warm.
I'm trying not to feel put-upon that she has barely even rinsed all of the dishes she's used, though she did put the clean ones in the drainer away today. So that's something.
Ah, happiness, bitch bitch bitch. Such is a livejournal post...
