Okay. Quick update.
I'm okay, mom and her sibs seem to be okay, grandad seems to be okay. I think mostly, we're okay.
I'm choosing to look on grandma's passing as the first good thing of 2008. Because, quite frankly, this is a good thing. Grandma doesn't have to suffer any more, and her family doesn't have to watch her suffer. She's with the family that's passed already, and we're okay with that.
So, that's where that is right now.

As for where I'll be. I'll be flying to Green Bay tomorrow, and be in Escanaba hopefully by tomorrow night.
Bug, Dee, I'd love to see you guys if I get the opportunity. I don't know what the travel/transportation situation will be, though, and money is tight, so it may not be able to happen but I really, really hope it does!
I might make a sojurn up to Marquette to see if I can get some letters of recommendation, but I'm not sure how that's going to work. For one thing, I don't want to go back to school yet, but if I wait too long the profs won't remember me... Maybe I should just volunteer at the library and the archives here and get letters of recommendation from locals...easier communication, anyway.
But we'll see. I'm looking forward to visiting Michigan.
