Valentine's Day sucks
Feb. 14th, 2009 10:41 pmAnd no, this is not a "Single and Bitter and Against Everything Romantic" rant. This isn't even quite a "Commercialized Bullshit Holiday".
What I don't like about Valentine's Day is the advertisements and the expectations of behavior that go along with them.
Mainly, that this holiday has become 1. A complete trial for men and 2. An reason for women to act bitchy.
( More VD ranting )
Ugh. I have no idea where this came from. Well, I do, but not necessarily to this extent. I just get so sick of this culture sometimes...
In other news, does anyone want to do me a big, big favor? Follow this link and make an account? It's another horse game, and it's really close to my ideal horse game that I've been designing in my head. And I just need to sponsor another player (cheap marketing ploy, I know) to get to the next "achievements" level. Thankfully, it's the only time I have to do this, and you don't have to continue to play, but it's kind of ridiculously fun even if I don't entirely have the patience for it...
In other, other news, I got four new CDs full of bellydancing music and I've been listening to them for a couple hours now. Fun, beautiful stuff. Which means I now have seven albums in my iTunes dedicated to bellydancing music. Guess I should think about taking some classes, ne? Oh well...
