mis_creation: (Mmmm...coffee...)

Oy with the poodles already...

I need new shoes. How do I know this? Because after working seven hours yesterday my feet are killing me. This is after three ibuprofins and eight hours of sleep. I think I'm going to try to wear one of my pairs of boots today, just to see how that goes. I have an eight hour shift today. So that's fun...

I'm not actually still sleepy, but I just kinda want to lie down again. Oh well. Gotta go get breakfast. And make myself some coffee.

Save up a bit of money for shoes and I'll take you shoe shopping. I don't really need an excuse to go, but it's much more fun with a friend.

The boots may be a better option if they have better arch support and are better padded on the soles than the shoes you have been wearing.

You also might try changing footwear every few hours. It sounds crazy, but it can make loads of difference in how your feet feel at the end of a shift.

Maybe you need shoes with good arch support. Or instead of buying new shoes, you could try buying some shoe inserts. Hopefully, that will help. It is hard to be on your feet for so long.
