Okay, so here's the bullet points

  • It snowed! It really, truly snowed! I am happy, even if I have to leave early for work and brush off my car. It finally feels like winter! Yay!
  • Speaking of winter, I'm working on putting together a Solstice/Pagan/non-Christian seasonal music mix. I'll let you know how that works out...
  • I am going to go house-sit for the next six days. I'll probably come back to homebase at random points to check on Nefret. House/Pet sitting was easier when I didn't have a cat of my own. Something I hadn't forseen...But I'm not sure when I will be coming back home. Probably Sunday, since I don't work.
  • I'm going to try to get some books read while house-sitting, since the house only has dial-up. Alternately, I could write. Probably neither one will happen...
  • Still don't know about the promotion. I have my fingers crossed, but I'm not going to be heart-broken if I don't get it.
  • Making plans about what to do if I do and if I don't get the promotion. I'm thinking I'm about ready to go back to school, but the question is which school...

What's the status on the paralegal plan?

The status is...I guess it's "tabled" for now. I haven't done anything active to pursue it, but I have been looking at the job postings and there are none that I've found. It's sort of back-up at this point... Largely because I forgot to factor it into my imaginings...

Thanks for reminding me, though!

We finally got some snow that stuck, too. It's less than an inch, but it's a start. I bet you get a lot of snow where you are. The snow, or rather, the lack of it, makes me miss the U.P.

Oh yeah. Another thing that makes me miss the UP is that people up there know more or less how to drive in this weather, and people here ... don't. So we've got stupid people skidding into other people and into ditches and down ravines...not pretty.
