First Post!

Wow. I'd forgotten how much stuff you have to do when setting up an LJ. But I've got a layout that I'm going to tweak the colors a bit, but I'm pretty happy with otherwise.

So, welcome everyone. Thanks for joining me.

In the interest of making life more ...well, interesting ... I went through LJ and joined a whole new batch of communities that sound cool. And in the process, I learned that one of the puppets from The Labyrinth is now housed in a museum in Scottsboro, Alabama. It was found in some unclaimed luggage, and this museum/shop sells the stuff that is unclaimed from airports. They wait 90 days and try to contact the owners, but after that it goes up for sale. (article here). I think that would be insanely fun to go see, just to see the puppet from the The Labyrinth in a glass case.

In other news, I have 16 more hours of work this week. This should be interesting. And I'm either getting paid on Friday or two weeks from Friday, depending on when my paperwork went through. Most likely two weeks from Friday, which means I'll be begging my parents for gas money again. But I have a source of income! Finally. Just in time for my student loan repayments to kick in.... Oh well.

So, anyway, thanks everyone for following me here. I appreciate you guys humoring my little neuroses.

I like the article link! I wouldn't mind checking the puppet out, either! I did aquire a DVD of The Labyrinth- someone left it at the old apartment and never claimed it- and I saw some behind the scenes stuff. Those puppets look complicated to operate.

Congrats on having a steady source of income! Picking up the paycheck is the best part of any job, if you ask me. Which you didn't, but I thought I'd throw in my thoughts.
