Bug is amusing

On learning that my sister has been listening to Christmas music (Josh Groban Christmas music, none the less) since October, has this to say:

HatiandSkoll: Since...? HUH? October is meant for evil scary fun, november for earthy oo lookie still some leaves yay type mood. Theeen the winter oo shiny.

I thought it was a good line, hereafter immortalized.

I HATE Christmas music. Once I started spending appreciable lengths of time in retail and department stores upon my entrance into the working world, I started hearing it every day during every season. Over the last five years, I've grown to hate the music. I love the holiday, mind you. But hearing twelve different renditions of "Jingle Bells" over and over again just killed it for me. When the same six songs have 28 different remixes, it's time to change songs.

If I ever own a store, I will never play Christmas music. If someone complains, I'll point to the other stores and say "GO! LISTEN AND BE HAPPY! MERRY FUCKING CHRISTMAS!!"

I will say that I do like The Waitresses' "Christmas Wrapping" - that's unique and different. Also, slightly cynical and funny. Also, it's a story with Christmas only as a backdrop.

Ahem, sorry for the rant. Well, not really.
