My new computer came! Its name is Michael, because it is shiny and kicks everyone's ass like Michael Westen in Burn Notice. (Yes, I am a sad, sad fangirl, shut up.) It's very speedy and wow is the tower compact, it's about half the size of my old tower.
To that end, does anybody know anyone who wants a gently use computer? It's got a CD burner and DVD-ROM (no DVD burner). 512MB RAM, 60GB hard drive, Windows XP clean installed. I can throw in a keyboard and mouse, if anyone wants that. Someone make me an offer...
The really bad:
They think my grandmother won't last even a few days. So, now my mom has to figure out how to get to Michigan sooner than the three tickets for me, my sister and my mother we had for the 14-20.
So, we'll likely be burying my grandmother within the next week or two. I'm sorry to say that this mostly affects me because it reminds me that my mother will die someday, and I really don't want to think about that. I also don't like my mother to be in pain, so that's no fun, either. Though she seems to be taking it okay, but she did just get new anti-depressent meds, so I'm not sure if its her or the medication talking....
