April 28, 2010
May. 10th, 2010 09:35 amAs of April 28, 2010, I am an honorary aunt!
My friend had her baby after 28 hours of labor. I took their puppy up to our house to stay with us while they were in hospital so her husband didn't have to come back to the house for feeding and such.
She's not even two weeks old yet.
It's very strange. I mean, I had a friend who had a baby before, but we were 14 and she pretty much stopped coming to school. I saw one picture many years later after the baby was given up for adoption. Nothing like this situation at all.
Poor little girl, though. She's doomed to useless knowledge with me as an aunt! But bonus for her parents that when I spoil her it's most likely going to be library-gifts. "Here, have this movie you wanted to see! But you need to return it to the library on time."
