...yeah, best laid plans and all that. I had planned to, like, double my word count today, since it's my day off and all. Instead I watched episodes of Malcolm in the Middle, played Chuzzle, and read some fanfic until just about 11:30, when I started writing.

I am, however, going to try to get to 15k before I quit for the night. I'm tired, but I want to make some progress.

"Today" is the thirteenth day of the month. Tomorrow is my lab shift, and I hope to get to at least 20k tomorrow. To keep up with the word count I should be at over 21k, but we'll see.

Yeah, I accomplished nothing on my day off...whoo.

Days off should be for chilling, not for being productive! At least, that's how I feel about them.

Well, I'd like to do something on my days off. I don't do much the days I work, since I only have four-hour shifts...

Ah. It is hard to be motivated to accomplish anything when you have to be at work. Even if the shift is four hours, I tend to want to chill before and afterwards.
