On the theory that as soon as I post about not being able to find something I find it...

I can't find my tax return from 2007. I know it's here somewhere. I could've sworn I put it in a "safe place" last time I "cleaned". But now I can't for the life of me remember where that safe place is, or if it's even still there!

It's just a stupid red and white folder. This should not be this difficult!

*sigh*

Okay, I'm going to go finish putting clothes away, and hopefulyl stumble across the tax return so I can fill out the FAFSA and see what I can get. Oh, and I'm going to look up GRE testing times, too, see how much that'll cost me. It's good for five years, so that's good, right?

Lalala...Off I go.

I do that all the freaking time. I remember putting whatever it is I'm looking for in a safe place so I won't forget it... and inevitably, I do.

I wonder if I can get a copy? Do the really big companies (Jackson Hewitt, I think..) even do that? *goes to look it up*

I lose my prior year's returns all the time, too. But I have less of an excuse - mine are on my computer. Somewhere.
