Damn it, I really wanted to go, for any number of reasons.
Stupid fucking airlines and their stupid non-refundable ever tickets. So now, in this great emotional and financial shit-storm, my mom has to eat nearly $800 worth of airline tickets. Fuck you, too, airlines.
See, this is why I like driving. At least you don't have to pay for gas you don't use...
